A or B?

Yesterday, our cousin T came for a business trip, so of course we had to meet for dinner.

After dinner, H drove her home, and on the car ride, she asks MM who is his favorite person: Ah-pe (Uncle H) or Ah-ko (Aunt C)?

MM didn't know what she meant, I think. So he said, "Ah-pe, Ah-ko."

T said, "Only one."

MM said, "Two only."

And no matter how T asked, he wouldn't budge. Two only.

I wonder if he knows what he's being asked.
