My Hair Grow Big

I just came home from visiting MM and doing other stuff with his parents.

I cut my hair today, so I asked MM, "Look what's different with Ah-ko today?"

MM: What's wrong with you?

Me: I cut my hair.

MM: I also cut my hair.

Me: When?

MM (thinking hard): Last time. My hair is small. I grow big. My hair grow big!

Me: Where are you now?

MM: In Singapore.

Me (holding his leg): Am I right here with you?

MM: Yes.

Me: Where am I?

MM: Ah-ko (referring to me) is in Philippines.


Huh???

G was teasing MM.

G: MM, give me your hand. I'm going to staple it.

MM (holding his hand close to his body and leaning away from G): No.

G: Why not?

MM: It's painful.

Late September, we were at a store in Orchard, buying a car seat for MM. J (MM's mom) saw this fairy tale book that she wants to read to MM in the same shop.

J: MM, come sit down and listen to Mommy tell you a story.

MM (who doesn't want to sit and listen to story alone): Ah-ko, do you want to sit and listen to story?

I was looking at other things beside the bookshelf at the time.

Me: No. You sit and listen.

MM: Ah-ko, do you want to sit and listen to story?

Me: You sit and listen.

MM: Ah-ko, you want to sit and listen.

Me (light bulb!): Okay. Let's sit here and listen.


**Actually, he wants me to sit and listen with him, but he's going the diplomatic way by asking you first, hoping you get the hint. If you don't, then he tells you outright.

Another instance on night of Sept 29:

MM: Ah-ko, where's your iPhone?

Me (get iPhone from bag): What do you want to see in my iPhone?

MM: Do you want to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse? (then click on YouTube app!)

Me: Oh, you want to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse?

YouTube loads, showing Little Einstein which which we must've watched before.

MM: Ah-ko, do you want to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Little Einstein?

Me: How about you? Do you want to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Little Einstein?

MM: Do you want to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse?

That's the hint!!

Me: Okay, let's watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!
